Joanne and NCTA Members,

Thank you so much for mentioning ART's race last Saturday.

The Big White Ghost and his trainer/jockey Arch Kingsley, Jr. was leading most of the way and over the last and got out-footed at the finish. A big step up from allowance company for the 9 year-old-gelding. We'll point for the Grade III Carolina Cup the last Saturday in March and Grade III Novice Stake at Queen's Cup (Mineral Springs, NC) April 28, 2012.

I do not often send information on a 4th place finish, but Here Comes Art finished 4th in the 100,000 Colonial Cup Hurdle Stakes a grade 1 in Camden on November 19th.  Coming that close in a grade 1 is worth mentioning.  He his owned by Carrington Racing Stables, Bill and Carrington Price.

We have been invited to their December 10 meeting to be held in Elloree SC.  Their speaker will be Terry Wallace who was the Oaklawn Park Announcer who has just retired after 37 years.  I would love to get a group together to attend this event.  If interested please let me know and will put your name on the list.  It would be good if the NCTA and the SCTOBA could do some things together.  I thank it would benefit out association and theirs.

So mark you calendars and lets make plans to go.
